The expanded application range of solid carbide drills with new geometries and more machining capabilities provides superior performance and high productivity. ISCAR’s 3-flute flat drills line is the first in the market for machining flat-bottom holes.
The drill’s three cutting edges improve hole quality, specifically in flat hole applications where interrupted cutting conditions occur (intersecting holes and angled surfaces).
This geometry provides high productivity, especially when machining steel and cast-iron materials.
The diameter ranges from 4mm up to 12mm with 0.1mm increments, and length to diameter ratio of 3xD and 5xD.
