Fastems, a leading builder and developer of intelligent CNC automation and software solutions for high-mix-low-volume manufacturers, has named Greg Haley President of its Americas Region operations at Fastems LLC. Haley brings more than a decade of automation and long-term strategy experience to this role. He plans to focus on growing the sales and service teams throughout the United States to provide more localized support of Fastems partners and customers. This also includes increasing Fastems’ footprint and services in Canada and Mexico. Haley is excited about the increased interest in automation and Fastems’ ability to meet the needs of manufacturers with a broad range of high-end systems that can create solutions for CNC machine tool cells of many sizes.
Automation has played a big part in Haley’s career journey, taking him from applications engineer to sales and marketing leadership roles and, eventually, heading up businesses within several companies. He has taken part in and led sales transformations, new go-to-market initiatives, and has launched new product offerings. Haley has enjoyed success when it comes to driving change and implementing new strategies.
Haley believes the Fastems MMS software is the heart of each modular Fastems automation system, connecting all components of an operation for optimal shop floor performance. He is eager to introduce new customers to this powerful operating system which allows the Fastems team to configure software packages to individual needs for maximum efficiency.
“Fastems has a very unique product offering, one that allows us to be flexible enough to address a wide range of customer needs based on the combination of a powerful MMS software package and sophisticated automation systems,” says Haley. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our sales, service and technical teams to support Fastems customers by delivering value through flexible automation.”
Haley holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and has completed the Post Grad Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning with an emphasis on Business Applications from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives in the Cincinnati area and is supported by his wife and daughter, all of whom will be welcoming a baby boy soon.
