Pemamek USA appoints Craig Sumner as area sales manager

Pemamek USA, a subsidiary of the Finnish Pemamek Oy, appointed Craig Sumner to its growing team. Sumner’s extensive experience in welding automation, sales, and service management strengthens Pemamek’s commitment to the heavy manufacturing industry in the U.S.

Sumner’s career began with hands-on roles in quality assurance and sales support at The Lincoln Electric Company. After earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Northern University, he spent eight years in Lincoln Electric’s sales team, delivering automation solutions across the Midwest.

Sumner later obtained an MBA from the University of Kentucky and transitioned to the role of Service Network Manager, where he optimized repair capabilities and field support. Most recently, he expanded his expertise in complex manufacturing processes while working with a defense contractor on submarine and aircraft carrier components.

As a key addition to the, Sumner will play a critical role in Pemamek USA team advancing the company’s U.S. and Canadian operations, supporting customers in automating their most challenging heavy manufacturing processes.
